If you are a driven self-starter with a proactive approach to serving professionals at all levels in a client-oriented environment, this is an excellent opportunity for you.
Your primary responsibility is to find and generate new customers and sell the services we offer. You have to be excellent listener, good communicator and persuasive talker.
The most important quality of your job is the ability to sell.
You must first and foremost be confident with your knowledge of our product lines. If you don’t have answers for your clients, how can you expect them to trust you. The issue of trust is central to any purchaser/vendor relationship. Having information at your disposal is the only way you can demonstrate to the potential client that he understands the benefits of our services. Not only do you have to present your knowledge, but also to listen to the needs and sensibilities of our clients.

Desired:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
- Business development/sales experience in the information technology consulting arena or selling IT products and solutions to the public sector
- Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods, techniques and strategies; Strong sales management and negotiation skills
- Proven sales record or track record in building and growing strategic relationships
Furthermore, it’s important for you to be able to see that a failed deal is not a personal failure. Simply by virtue of what you do, you may encounter rejection when put effort into deals that do not close. Like a warrior, it is a destiny to win or loose, but there is nothing personal.
